A researcher can add a University affiliation then Library Admins are then able to Approve and Reject these within the Dynamica Admin - Manage Affiliations page. Researchers will be unable to author until their affiliation has been approved.
- Library Admin goes into Manage affiliations to Approve/ Reject
- On the Waiting for Admin Approval tab you will see the list of people waiting for their affiliations to be approved for your university.
- Here you can see:
- Their name and email address
- Date of affiliation request
- Role
- Department (if filled in)
- Last active
Editing a role before approving
- Before approving, you can also edit the role by clicking the pencil icon.
- Select the role from the dropdown options:
- Admin (About: Library admin)
- Reviewer (About: Able to Read and Review)
- Researcher (About: Able to Read, Author and Review)
- Community Creator (In development)
- Funder (In development)
- Click Confirm
Approving affiliation requests
- To approve an affiliation click on the checkbox next to the person or people you want to approve.
- Click on Approve
- When a request has been approved the Researcher or Researchers will receive an in-app notification
Rejecting affiliation request
- To reject an affiliation click on the checkbox next to the person or people you want to reject.
- Click on Reject
